CENTUM-ADS is a specialist technological engineering division that provides services related to the analysis, design, development, installation and certification of embedded systems, which are based upon emerging technologies. It provides continuous support throughout all stages of a project to its various companies, be they Public Administrations or manufacturing companies in the fields of air, naval, and terrestrial platform development.

A Strong Commitment To R&D
In our ADS division we are fully committed to Research and Development, since this is the very platform upon which any new technological development is based. CENTUM’s most recent strategic plan, drawn up at the end of 2008, and which covers the period 2009-2011, is very clear in this respect: "Our strategy is to establish a position in these type of projects, displaying initiative both on a national and international level, with the aim of deepening our knowledge of these areas, being recognized as pioneers in the development of technologies which will support our products and services in the future" .
Service Description
The services that CENTUM ASD offers its clients in this sector can be grouped under the umbrella of System Engineering.
We understand a System to be "a combination of resources (equipment, communications, software, etc…) integrated in such a way so as to operate one or more specific applications, in such a manner that satisfies the specific requirements of the end user. This system also includes testing and support equipment, as well as feedback, inventory-related and maintenance components".
CENTUM is typically involved in such projects on a complete system life cycle basis.
The embedded systems developed by CENTUM are essentially electronic and/or communicative by nature. Within this category, we have experience in the following projects:
