The Spanish aerospace industry is the fifth-largest player in the European field, in terms of output value and the numbers of people employed. In the last ten years, the Spanish industry has grown dramatically, by approximately 13% annually, (measured in terms of consolidated production), with an outstanding contribution to R&D of approximately 15% of sales.

The 2008 – 2016 strategic plan for this industry has as its main target the goal of multiplying by a factor of three the output of the Spanish Aerospace sector, and aims to do so through increased added value and the development and early adoption of emerging technologies in the field.

In this context, CENTUM intends to position itself as a benchmark company in its chosen fields, and to contribute to the development of the sector in general by continuing to make significant investments in R&D+i.
