In the frame of diversification and internationalization strategy and given the analogy between the aeronautical and space sector, CENTUM heavily bets on space activity to achieve a synergy of both. Space sector is a highly skilled sector where many technologies converge with very specific characteristics. Also, the future development of satellite communications is one of the main lines of activity.

Within the areas of COMMUNICATIONS, ELECTRONICS and SW, CENTUM works in services and systems engineering and in technologies integration engineering, with the following objectives:

  • » Systems engineering in space projects.
  • » Systems engineering in SATCOM developments. Satellite Communications Systems on mobile platforms (air, naval…) and their support C4ISR Systems (Command, Control, Communications, Computing, Intelligence, Surveillance and Acknowledgement) and Tactical Data Links (TDLs).
  • » Embedded SW.
  • » Specification and test execution.
  • » Design and integration test bench.
  • » Solutions development for Defense and Security.

Projects

CENTUM is currently developing space activity in the following areas:

  • » QoS control and monitoring for regenerative satellites with onboard processor (OBP).

  • »SATCOM flexible. On-board SDR (Software Define Radio).
