Mission Systems (Mps)

 

Mission system are used for maritime surveillance applications, (search and rescue), national security (border patrols and law enforcement agencies involved in drug trafficking and immigration), humanitarian aid, the protection of natural resources, and conflicts involving submarines and surface vessels.

These systems normally include mission-oriented sensors and communication and navigation systems, which increase the effectiveness of the mission, providing an intuitive man-machine interface. Generally, these systems are comprised of a “ground” element integrated with a further element embedded in the platform.

Mission operators may execute control over sensors and other devices by means of multifunction consoles (MFC), connected to central processors through a high speed local area network.

• » Definition of integration processes: conducting test scenarios, specifications of test benches;
• » System rating: test execution (functional, environmental, EMI/EMC);
• » Certification Support: management of dialogue with Certification authorities.
