Real Time Software

Real-time software is a specific type of software, the main feature of which is the execution of pre-determined actions at specific time intervals, as determined by the dynamics of the physical system that supervises or controls the given process. This type of software is to be found in many applications, from consumer electronics to the control of complex industrial processes.

CENTUM, through its software development center, has at its disposal a wide array of hardware and software applications, as well as personnel well versed in their use and functionality. This enables us to provide clients with expert and trusted solutions in the area of managing risks associated with such processes, the primary aim of which is to eliminate the possibility of system failure, thereby ensuring both the safety of the platform and the crew working on it.

CENTUM is capable of developing software according to Standard RTCA-DO 178-B, with a high level of criticality, up to level A.
