VIRTUAL MOBILE OPERATORS (VMO)

Image

The VMO paradigm is that they embrace standard telecommunication systems whilst at the same time pushing out into new markets, offering enhanced features in relation to specialized services and contents.

Nearly all mobile technology operators and analysts agree that using MVNO technology is the way forward in terms of staying ahead in this fast developing field.

Another VMO paradigm is the importance of the non-telco sector, i.e. companies in possession of two vital ingredients for a successful VMO launch: a well-known brand and a sufficiently large client base.

These types of companies, such as banks with large branch networks or consumer retail chains. These companies normally decide to commission a VMO as part of a customer loyalty/retention program.
